Application, tuition, and deadlines for application process

What is our application process?

First, you will submit an application. Once we’ve reviewed it, we’ll contact you to schedule an interview—either in person or over Zoom or FaceTime, depending on where you live.

These interviews are more like conversations. We want to hear your story and discern together whether the Memphis Fellows program is a good fit—for you and for us. We ask applicants to spend time in prayer about the decision, just as our committee does.

We encourage you to apply early, as spots can fill quickly. After all your materials are in, you’ll typically hear back within 3–4 weeks. We accept applications on a rolling basis.

Questions? Reach out to Deb Coleman at 901-289-3379—we’d love to hear from you!

We are still accepting applications for the 2025-2026 class!

September 1, 2025 – May 16, 2026

Tuition and Scholarships

The tuition for the Memphis Fellows Program is $6,700, which includes a $200 non-refundable deposit due when you return your signed contract accepting a spot in the program.

Payment is split into two parts:

  • $3,350 is due by September 1

  • The remaining balance is paid in eight monthly payments (October–May)

Tuition can be paid by the Fellow or raised—similar to how support is raised for a mission trip. After acceptance, we’ll provide a fundraising packet to help you get started.

Scholarships are available! If cost is a concern, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Contact Deb Coleman, Fellows Director, at (901) 289-3379, for more information.

What Tuition Covers

Tuition covers a wide range of experiences and resources, including:

  • 10 retreats (all fees and expenses included)

  • Coursework and textbooks

  • Spiritual inventory testing and counseling

  • Weekly round-table dinners and Friday breakfasts

  • Administrative costs and many other group events

Each Fellow is placed with a host family from our church community. Room and board are provided at no cost, and your work placement wages help cover other living expenses.

Fellows are responsible for their own car and health insurance.
